🛡️ Gate The Flood – Aluminum Stop Log Flood Barrier System
The Gate The Flood aluminum panel barrier system is a robust, modular flood protection solution designed to safeguard doorways, entrances and other vulnerable openings. Built using high-strength aluminum, this stackable “stop log” system offers both durability and flexibility.
U-Channel Posts are permanently installed on either side of the opening. These slim, discreet posts are engineered to hold interlocking aluminum planks, which can be quickly stacked to the desired height when flooding is anticipated.
Engineered to withstand hydrostatic pressure, this barrier system provides reliable protection for buildings, homes, and critical infrastructure—keeping floodwater out and your property secure.
🛠️ How Does the Gate The Flood Barrier System Work?
The Gate The Flood aluminum flood barrier system uses a series of interlocking Aluminum Planks (stop logs) that are securely slotted into U-channel posts mounted on either side of the opening to be protected.
Each plank features a durable EPDM rubber seal on the underside, while the vertical posts also contain EPDM lining within the slots. This dual-seal design ensures a watertight fit and effectively resists water infiltration during flooding events.
For enhanced performance during extreme conditions, the planks are tightened and locked in place from the top, securing them firmly against the seals to resist wind, water pressure, and floating debris.
